The Connecticut Case

Please sign the petition to allow Chiropractor to continue to perform DOT Exams in New York

The facts concerning Connecticut:
  • Connecticut was challenged in 2013 based on a chiropractor’s competence to perform a DOT physical.
  • The effort to challenge our competence to perform these exams was led by the Connecticut Medical Association, and joined by numerous other medical organizations such as the Connecticut Orthopedic Medical Society.
  • The case culminated in 2014 in a decision that a chiropractor is competent to perform a DOT physical examination.
